Scott Dawkins

Executive and Management Coach

Over more than three decades in the tech industry, Scott has held diverse leadership roles across numerous organizations and functions. One universal truth has remained: leaders and teams must continuously develop their skills to thrive. Throughout Scott’s career, he’s been fortunate to learn from exceptional coaches, mentors, and role models. Those experiences instilled in him how challenging it is to grow leadership capacity without guidance—and how transformative the right support can be.

As an executive and management coach, Scott works with leaders to strengthen their impact, inspire their teams, and deliver results. The difference between a motivated, empowered team with clear goals and a poorly led one is tenfold. Scott’s mission is to help leaders cultivate clarity, build trust, and empower people to excel.

Scott brings a deep well of experience from senior roles in enterprise technology, most recently serving in Chief Technology Officer roles at NetApp, where he helped shape hybrid multicloud strategies and advised executives on digital transformation. Earlier, as Vice President of Advanced Technology, he spearheaded innovation in emerging technologies, early-stage product development, and portfolio strategy. Scott has also advised leaders at high-growth startups and partnered with C-suite executives across industries, giving him a practical perspective on the challenges and opportunities leaders face today.

Scott holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Arizona, and he is Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certified. True to his belief in lifelong learning, Scott continues to invest in his own growth—most recently through advanced Python training in Jupyter notebooks.

Scott’s coaching approach blends strategic insight, innovation mindset, and people-centric leadership development. It is collaborative, candid, and focused on helping leaders build both the confidence and the capability to lead effectively in complex environments.

At the heart of his work is a simple belief: leadership is a force multiplier. When leaders grow, their teams thrive, and organizations flourish. Scott’s role is to equip leaders with the tools, mindset, and clarity to make that multiplier effect real.
