Dawn Posey
Executive Coach and Facilitator
Dawn is an executive coach, team facilitator, and business transformation consultant with a proven track record of delivering results in a wide range of roles during her 25-year career in large, multinational businesses.
Dawn started her journey as a manufacturing engineer supporting an electronics assembly line and progressed, leveraging Six Sigma methodologies, to become a process/systems expert for a customer care team. The process expert role led to pan-European opportunities ranging from implementing a greenfield, multilingual customer care center to leading the deployment of a field service management system. Dawn returned to the U.S. to develop a global SAP deployment playbook, allowing her to build her change management skills. She used those skills in her next role as the business transformation leader for a $1 billion global business. As the business grew to more than $5 billion and as her roles changed, her business experience grew to include acquisition integration, quality (design, customer, and manufacturing), front- and back-office centers of expertise and sales, inventory, operations, and planning. Her last corporate role was vice president of customer experience.
Giving back is important to Dawn, and she volunteers for a range of community activities, including local trail maintenance, elections, and as a volunteer coordinator for a local non-profit.
For fun, Dawn travels as much as her schedule allows. Recent trips include an expedition to Antarctica, a road trip to Colorado, and a summer trip to the Czech Republic.
Dawn makes South Carolina home but is originally from San Diego, California. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she earned a bachelor's of science degree in industrial engineering and a dual MBA/master's degree in engineering. She supports her alma mater and its commitment to support women in engineering through a scholarship foundation.
