Cari Sisserson is an Organization and Leadership Development practitioner with over 25 years of experience designing strategic initiatives that enable cultural change. Working alongside executives, leaders and Business Partners, Cari is passionate about creating opportunities that increase overall effectiveness and engagement in alignment with what is most important to the business.
Cari’s unique approach integrates international knowledge and experience with academic acumen and practical application in organization development, change management, leadership development and facilitation, leadership coaching, strategic planning, and team effectiveness. She has worked within many diverse industries to include digital marketing, defense contracting, broadcasting & media, aerospace & technology, governmental and private companies. Having lived and worked in various countries as well as traveling extensively, Cari brings an international open-mindedness to her work that compliments her industry agnostic approach.
A critical aspect to the way Cari sees multiple perspectives comes from both serving as an internal leader and an external consultant as well as her service as a Business Development Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine directly following perestroika in the mid-1990s. These experiences enhanced her world view and unique look into how all humans approach reflection and change.
Cari has a master’s degree in Organization Development (MSOD) from American University, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mass Communications/Advertising from the University of South Florida and is a Certified Leadership Coach (CLC) from Georgetown University. She is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Zenger Folkman 360 Coach, True Colors, Birkman Signature Assessment, DDI leadership facilitation and Franklin Covey leadership facilitation.
