MBTI® is the world's most popular personality assessment tool.  As a result there is an incredible amount of data and research that support the findings.  The MBTI® is often mistakenly referred to as a test.  It is NOT a test.  It is an indicator.  The difference being that a test measures aptitude whereas an indicator identifies preference.  An individual's MBTI is an indication of their preference for behavior in a given situation.  The assessment can be a powerful tool when coaching an individual or a team.
